Broke up 4 months ago. She did well after the breakup ( got engaged to the guy she was cheating on me with 3 weeks later ) I was left broken . But I went to therapy , got on some medication, started running , working out and boxing . I started feeling pretty good . I reached out and broke no contact . I just wanted to tell her I was doing ok . I wasn’t expecting her to tell me she isn’t doing well . She told me she has an eating disorder that put her in the hospital for malnutrition. I was really upset and wanted to make sure she was ok . The next day she texted that it was worse then she let on , that she had a suicide attempt .. I was like “are you ok ? Is there anything I can do ?! “

I have reason to believe both of these things are lies ..

Why ? Why do this to me ? I still care for her , I still love her .
