Finally removed my phone line from the business cell plan last week. I hadn't been working and had gotten behind on the plan that was in my name so I had started using the business phone. My nex had started putting my phone line on vacation hold, then blocking me from getting text messages several times. He also got the kids phone lines on the account and his girlfriend and ran up a $1,000 bill.

Today, the cell phone company called me asking if I had requested my line be transferred because he stated I was not authorized and he wanted the phone line back. Not the phone which he doesn't own but my phone line. The same line he put on hold and blocked text messages on....he demanded to have back. Despite my restraining order, I could hear him on the line because it sounded like someone was driving.

I was within my rights as a business owner who had the ein and could pass all the security questions but what gets me is trying to take my phone line away after he had tried multiple times to put it on hold without a thought of how our kids would be able to contact me or how I would be able to manage their doctor appointments or anything else. It's unnerving he can side step the restraining order and still reach out to me through a company when he isn't supposed to contact me at all. I hadn't taken anything from him or caused him harm and he still tried to take something away from me.
