I had a narcissist years ago and the smear campaign was so bad that even with police involved he didn’t stop. No contact and no internet for 3 years he moved on to his next victim. Fast forward moved a few states away made friends with some ladies. We decided to run for HOA together. She convinced me this other candidate is the devil and I got swept up in the drama (never publicly just between the ladies). I won she didn’t (she publicly bashed him). He turns out to be a nice guy. She started tearing me down because I was spotted in a room with him and how dare I be on his side (it was a board meeting) calling me fake and horrible names and got three others involved. Block ignore. She then texted this guy apologizing and telling him I was behind everything. He said he didn’t care I apologized. Then she started calling everyone in the neighborhood. I did publicly apologize for gossiping and most of the community was supportive some even saying they believed her lies too. Her new one is having a neighbor call me saying I forged documents with their signatures and the cops are going to arrest me and kick me off the board. I did not do those things. Best advice to get this to stop. She has already put her house on the market and have a small army against me.
