I’m in the middle of divorcing my husband who I believe has NPD. We also went to marriage counseling and after 6 sessions, the therapist terminated us because she felt he was verbally abusive and a narcissist.

We separated about 6 weeks ago. He kept accusing me of sleeping with other people after I told him I wanted a divorce but before we were separated. He said he would NEVER sleep with someone else until he’s officially divorced. Lo and behold I find out he’s sleeping with someone.

I’m actually in shock. I saw the woman and I don’t want to down her at all because she’s an innocent party, but my stbx is incredibly attractive and this woman looks to be about 20 years older and very unattractive. Is this common? Is it because he needs a new supply no matter what?
