To give some context.. I've been no contact with my nex since he moved out at the start of June, but he emailed me a couple of days ago to ask if he could come get some of his stuff & we agreed on a day & time over the weekend. I've already moved almost all of it (apart from a couple of larger items of furniture that I can't move on my own) out to the garage so for what he wants to get he doesn't have to come into the house. I've also got a friend of mine who's going to be here when he comes, potentially so that she can even be the one to let him into the garage but if nothing else to just be moral support &/or a witness if anything happens.

I feel like I've done all I can to protect myself & intend to keep contact when he's here to a bare minimum. Any tips from those who've been in the same situation? Anything I've forgotten to plan for or that you wish you'd done differently? Thanks in advance for any advice!!
