Trying to figure out LED light distance, could use some help.

I have a IP65 KingBrite 240W Kb288 led grow light board with samsung lm301h grow light (flowering and full cycle) And I have (theoretically) only about 20-24” of space between light n pots (2gal flora flex pots w/ coco). I was wondering since it is a dimmable light can I get away with just dimming it hella and growing a few short plants or is it too powerful for the distance?
