What do I do it’s getting harder and harder to lie :( or should this be my personal business should I even share ?
It’s not that difficult to tell the truth about personal matters when you don’t have anxiety or other mental health issues. I’m a nanny with mental health problems and I’ve been in the shoes of OP. Lying about work is definitely inappropriate and grounds for firing but lying about personal life (only things that don’t affect work) has nothing to do with an employee’s ability to perform the job. In an ideal world no one would feel so much stress about telling the truth about their school life to their employer but it’s not an ideal world. I understand that people have different morals but I feel your comment lacks understanding.

That worked for me when I was in the same situation lmao. I expected her to fire me but she loved me and I’d been working for them for years and she was just extremely kind and understanding.
