Why do I care so much about people who don’t care about me?!! I try to do everything for this family, I give every ounce of myself, and they don’t respect me or care about me, while pretending they do! That’s the worst part. If you’re going to disrespect me constantly at least stop acting like you’re so generous and kind. We are just at a point of mutual disrespect and this working relationship needs to end. My contract is up 5/31/25 and I’m counting down the damn days. I’m going to miss my NKs but I’m being pushed out by 10G and the parents are letting it happen and doing nothing to discourage it. My heart is broken.

Any advice on emotionally distancing?
