Had my second day with new nanny family today. MB and DB leave while 5moF is napping, and ask if I could move the kids laundry to the dryer when it finishes in the washer. The dryer cycle finishes right before I have to wake baby, so I decide to do a little extra bring the dry clothes downstairs and fold them after I give her a bottle...

I'm sitting on the floor playing with/ taking to baby while she sits in her little seat, simultaneously folding laundry, and MB and DB come home. MB says "you don't have to fold their clothes!" And I figure I'm already doing it so may as well just finish, and she's probably just being nice, so I say "oh, it's ok!" And continue on.

A few minutes later she comes by and steals the clothes and hamper 😅 💀

They're paying well, with benefits, and they're so nice... so far I've done 0 baby related chores except heating bottles and putting away toys when we're done with them, and I can't shake the feeling that I'm not useful enough! I've never relaxed so much during naps
