My NF was supposed to move august 1 but it keeps getting pushed back and now I want to quit
Post Body

Okay so I’ve been working for this family since March of last year and from the start they have been planning to move to another state. They bought a house back in I wanna say June but decided to completely remodel the entire house which is why their move date keeps getting pushed back. For a while they told me they’re moving august 1 weather the house is done or not. They also want me to come with them after they settle in, maybe a week or two and then I’d stay for a week or two. But now that we’re well into the month they’re saying they’re expecting to move mid September but there’s still no final date. Because I assumed they’d be gone by august 1, I signed up for classes that conflict with my current schedule as school starts aug 22 and made commitments to other people in the fall expecting to be back by mid September if I helped them with their move. Now I’m feeling super overwhelmed by my schedule for school as well as the other commitments and I’m in school to be a teacher so I need one day a week to do work inside the classroom. All of this aside I love my nanny family and am very sad to leave them and am worried about talking to MB about quitting since they’re expecting me to stay with them until they move and go with them for a couple weeks. I know I need to sit down with MB to discuss my concerns with everything I have going on and I need to tell her that I just feel like I can’t continue working for them. Thanks for listening to my rant and if anyone has any advice for my situation or how I go about talking to MB let me know!
