I(21f) currently am getting paid $18 and hour and want to get paid $20 for one kid Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 9-5, then Wednesday and Friday’s 1-5 after childcare. I take the 3 year old out pretty much anytime he’s not napping and do light house work (vacuuming, folding laundry a few times a week and loading and unloading the dishwasher daily) while he naps. He typically naps everyday and MB usually puts him down. I’ve been working with them over a year and I thought they’d offer me a raise and haven’t. I really feel like I should be paid more but I have no idea how to ask MB. Do I do it in person? Over text? Email? I’ve never emailed her don’t even have it. Just anyone please help this is also my first time being a nanny and I also struggle to price my babysitting fees when other parents ask. I don’t know why I’m so shy about money but I don’t feel comfortable discussing it at all. Any advice here?? I would really love specific instructions thank you!
