Pretty Great NF
Post Body

I just wanted to talk about how pretty rad my NF is. Been working for them for a year now and they both WFH. The DB isn't in the way or annoying, he's usually locked away in his office but EVERY day that I work all day he gets me a huge thing of soda from 7-11 at the beginning of the day as he knows that it's my poison of choice. Just a little thing like that means a lot. He asks for recommendations on books to read to help his understanding of NK(23mo). He takes my advice seriously and really is a great guy to work for.

MB and I are like best friends at this point and it's pretty wonderful. She's in her office but it's more open to NK and I. We watch game shows together a lot when she's done with work for the last like 45 minutes of my shift and I'm giving NK his dinner.

The grandma typically comes over every day, she lives 5 minutes away, to help with lunch and she's like my second mom now. We laugh and talk shit about people that cause problems with her and it's like I've got a family.

I know that 'Part of the family' is typically avoided and red flags but with them it's so perfect. We had a pool day on Saturday where I just came over to hang out with all of them and I told Grandma that they had a really wonderful family and she told me I was part of it too. I nearly cried y'all. I grew up in a quite a toxic family and am NC/LC with most of them so to have this one where they actually care about me and I care about all of them is awesome. /End rant lol
