Looking for books or TV episodes that address toddler sharing (or rather NOT sharing) to older siblings
Post Body

I nanny for a 7,6, and just turned 2 (25 mos old). All girls. The toddler is at the age where she is too young in her development to really understand sharing.

Most of our issues are because 2F picks a toy from the vast collection of toys, THAT NO ONE HAS CARED ABOUT FOR MONTHS (or even years) and obsesses about it for a week or two, as toddlers do. All of a sudden, whoever the toy originally belonged to REALLY CARES about that ONE toy and just has to have turns with it. Of course 2F screeches at the top of her lungs if someone touches the toy or is inconsolable /can't be redirected if one of the older two has hidden it on her when she is not looking.

It's annoying, but as an older sibling, I sympathize, and understand that they are still little kids, too. We've talked about how 2F is still growing the sharing part of her brain, that she won't care about it forever, that there are lots of other things to play with, that 2F naps 2-3 hours a day and that's a good time to play with those things (no one cares then, of course, lol), etc.

I'd like to add some books or even TV episodes to my arsenal.

Any suggestions??? All I have been able to find are books that are about getting a baby sibling, and/or being jealous of all the attention a younger sibling gets, but not much addressing the sharing issue from a child's POV.
