I had to let DB know today that she might have some, uh, colorful new phrases. In the parking lot after preschool, one mom had their new puppy. Second mom had their very large (100 pound) dog. Big dog decided to aggressively “play” with the puppy, so mom2 grabbed her, flipped her over, knelt over her and said “Not today Bitch!” She continued to yell “Submit goddamn it!”
I was like...yeah...tell your friends goodbye, time to go, get in the car. 🤦🏻♀️ F4.5 asked me “Did Sam’s mommy says a bad word?” I had to tell her “She used some adult words because she was frustrated and scared. They’re not the best words to use but sometimes adults make mistakes, too.”
While I was making lunch, I heard F4.5 trying the words out and wrestling her stuffed dog. We had to have a chat about that’s not how we handle dogs, those aren’t the right words to use, etc.
That was fun to explain to DB...
