Toddler Over-Feeding Issues?
Post Body

So I'm with a new nanny family, who, while they are super specific about how they like things done, are generally fine. That said, I'm really not gelling with them on how they approach food with their kid, and I'm not sure if I'm being crazy.

When I get in, they have me prepare NK (2.5M) a 3 egg Vietnamese omelette and half an apple. My entire priority is getting him to eat it. The issue I'm having is that they give him like...8-12 ounces of milk in the morning, that they feed him like a baby. The kids not hungry! He has a tummy full of milk; but every 10 minutes its "Oh try getting him to eat," "He was happy this weekend and ate the whole thing." I then have to take him to the park and try to get him to eat more on the way there.

Then there's lunch. They insist I give him full adult portions, and he won't feed himself, I imagine partially because they don't make him, partially because he's still full. Ya'll, it took me an hour and a half to get a bowl of lunch in this kid, I played cars the whole time to keep him happy.

I guess I get the concern, he's not a great eater; but he isn't underweight, he's full of energy, he's happy. I just feel like I'm force feeding this little guy. Any advice?
