Hey, NF is going on vacation for a week to a country that doesn’t require a two-week isolation period on return, but they’ve asked that if the countries status changes during their visit that I continue coming to work during those two weeks. I looked up the rules about self-quarantining, and while “essential carers” are allowed to visit, I’m not sure that I’m essential due to the fact that both parents will be home to potentially supervise. I also don’t know how I’d feel about two weeks of not being able to leave the house with NK’s, especially when both parents are WFH. Also, my safety wasn’t mentioned at all. I wasn’t really asked, per say, I was just told that I would be needed. If this situation occurs, what is the best way to say that I don’t think I should come into work?
