Pre-covid 4F and I were always on the go. We went to target together to get school supplies. It was our first time in a store together since March.
Mostly we go for a lot of walks (weather permitting) and try out new parks. The best part about the new parks is that 4F has no idea where we’re going so if we see a park but it’s got other people at it we just leave and find another one.
Other than that it feels like an endless cycle of barbies, paw patrol and kitchen. We do arts and crafts and baking and water play in the backyard so I’m not looking for more activities... I’m just burned out.
I’m used to being able to go places and do things. 4F is going to preschool in person, for now, but I can’t see that lasting long. And we live in a place with cold winters and outside will become way less of an option.
There’s nothing wrong with the family, they’re great. I’m just so tired of COVID nannying.
