I’m in a bit of a weird situation.

I have 2 nks 4F and 1M. 1M has some medical issues and is delayed. He has his own nanny, but she is off for the summer. We have been interviewing summer nannies for him and we haven’t found anyone we really love so far.

I can handle 1Ms medical issues, but there’s no way I can switch to watching 1M and leave 4F with someone else - the transition and entire situation would be chaos and traumatic for her. We’ve started talking about more of a mother’s helper situation - someone who is with me during the day to help handle both kids.

There’s a lot more background that I’m kind of skipping and leaving out, but the basis of the question is: have you ever been in a situation where you’ve hired a mothers helper for your nanny and how did it go? What rules and boundaries did you have in place?
