I was rear ended this weekend. It was not my fault and I’m totally fine. Thankfully, Girlie wasn’t in the car with me, but her car seat was. I took my car in today and the person who hit me managed to dent both of my rear bumpers meaning they both need to be replaced. I texted MB and she wants to replace the car seat just to be safe.

I’m going to try and get this persons insurance to reimburse her for the new car seat but I’m wondering if anyone has any experience with this?

I’m not on their insurance and I just have the basic plan myself. Do I just explain to the insurance company that I’m a nanny and the car seat needs to be replaced? MB doesn’t care if she gets reimbursed, she’s replacing it either way but I feel bad about it.
