Does anyone else struggle with an early start time? I’ve been at my new job for three weeks and start time is 7:30. My previous job started at 8 and I’m literally waking up 5 minutes earlier than I was before but I’m dragginggggggg all morning now. I get minimum 7 hours of sleep, usually closer to 8. I had no problems working at 8. Caffeine doesn’t usually work for me unless I drink a lot and then I feel sick lol.
My new work schedule is 6am-630pm 💀 I have to wake up at 5😠solidarity girl
I mean…. 👀 my nighttime routine is eat dinner with my partner, sex, shower, stretch, tv, sleep. I sometimes do things on Friday or Saturday night if friends invite me out but only like once a month. On Saturdays I visit my nana and sometimes see friends and Sunday I clean my apartment and hang with my partner and get in a workout. It’s manageable but I do hate watching the mess build up and wish I could work out more. I can’t wait for 40 hour weeks, I’m going to get back into my hobbies!!!

Omg good for you honestly!! I’m transitioning into a new role so it’s split between 2 families; M-F 630-2 for one, 230-630 for the other, and 10-4 every other Saturday. This ends in a 40 hr regular workweek when I transition away from my current long-term role. I have been doing 52-60 hr weeks (currently 66) for my long term family for almost five years (and generally happy with it!) but am so ready to step down. Honestly I work the hours for the money and to maintain my relationship with my long term family but July can’t come fast enough!
