I love my boss, but she will literally throw away a delicious custom cake from a bakery after 1-2 days, even if thereâs over half of it left. She might send me home with a slice and then she trashes it. It breaks my heart and she doesnât even seem sad about it. Her attitude is âWho would want all that cake anyway?â
ME!! I WANT ALL THE CAKES ALL THE TIME!!
I donât know if itâs the poor kid in me or the fat kid in me, but I physically cannot throw away perfectly good food, ESPECIALLY when itâs a delicious custom made cake đ©
(And before anyone suggests, itâs not to prevent the kids from having any. Theyâre not allowed cake in the first place)
Ooof thatâs rough. My NKs eat a lot of fake sugar because MB doesnât want to say no to sweets so she allows lots of fake sugar and I worry so much about the toll that takes on my lil friends.
As a nanny in eating disorder recovery I have had to learn to take part in eating the sweets on occasion so I can model that itâs normal, even though it took me a few years to get here.
