I’ve been nannying for a family for about 8 months on and off as needed to fill in for their other nanny. The NF is taking me with them on a trip and I have come to realize I am being hugely underpaid for the trip, they want to pay me a flat rate of $100 per day and not exceed 8 hours a day for 5 days, not including the two travel days since I won’t be “working" those days. They pay me a really good hourly (23 for both kids 20 for one) and other than late/inconsistent payments we have not had any issues. should I request more? i was thinking I would offer one kid hourly rate (20/hr) for 8 hours each working day of the week then charge 75/night (i did not realize overnight fees were a thing) do you guys think I would be out of line to ask for more?
