Hey all you knowledgeable humans!
I’m a nanny of 9 years interested in working in another country for a period of time (6 months probably). I know au pairing is an option, however from my understanding you’re given an ‘allowance’ more so for fun money rather than wages as it’s seen as a sort of exchange/ experience, which I totally get! However, considering my indepth experience and skills, I would love to be able to nanny in another country and be paid for nanny services vs au pair services and be able to save for further travels/ pay for expenses at home as needed. I would prefer accommodations for easiness sake and am fine with deductions being taken from my pay accordingly. Alternatively, I’d love to be a travel nanny. Does anyone know where I could look for positions and hoops I’d have to jump through to get there?
Info: I’m a 26 year old female Canadian currently living in Canada
Thank you!!
