That translates to $9 an hour working 40 hours a week for one 2-year old high-functioning autistic baby. But itās close to school (which is currently 45 minutes away by car, and I donāt have one). Iām taking classes online but itād be nice to be involved in extracurriculars. The mom justified $1500 by saying itās good for a ābroke college studentā and not having to pay rent is a huge perk (even though I already donāt pay rent by living with my mom, but tbf I would have to to be closer to school). Just want to get peopleās opinions because Iām getting so many mixed results by simply looking up live in nanny salaries in Florida. Some say a flat rate is fair, others say that live in nannies should be paid the same as any other nanny. The family is moving to the new place this week so time is of the essence and Iād appreciate any insight!
