I currently have a job that's 2 work at home parents with a 8 month old baby. They let me know about a week or two ago that they'd be switching to daycare so I started looking. They want me to stay till November 15th but I have an interview and they want someone to start in October. I'm having trouble because I've developed a friendship with my clients (we've hung out outside of work) so I feel bad leaving them hanging. They said they understand if I leave early but it's just making me feel so bad. This could be a perfect fit job for collage tho and it's pretty much the same job that I'm working now so I know I would be great at it. Only difference is the new job is 1 work at home parent and the current job is 2 parents. The new job also has more of a possibility of being long term and I don't think my current job has interest in using a nannying service once the kid gets old enough to entertain themselves. And if I do leave early how many weeks should I give them at least? It's September 15th when posting this.
