Just saw this post in one of my fb nanny groups. The person was asking for the rate for a nanny/sitter in our area and the first comment was
" Damn , I’m grateful for my babysitter . She’s home based and charges me $120 a week and she watches him from 9am-5pm"
The going rate in my area is on average 20-30 an an hour. Minimum wage in my state is $14.13. Who ever is "babysitting" her child is doing it for $3 an hour apparently. How atrocious. And illegal.
