Post Body

Ugh. I was at my workout studio today and was chatting with the instructor — who I love! But she said, ‘oh yeah my friend used to be a nanny and then she got a real job’. I internally cringed so hard but didn’t want to rock the boat so I bit my tongue. Nannying is a real, and hard, job! It’s frustrating that it’s not commonly seen that way and everyone thinks our job is just fluttering around like Mary Poppins…

Oof once I was in the elevator at my old fancy high rise apartment and a stranger asked what I do, I told her and she said “oh it’s ok girl I waited tables for a year after college!” Like bitch this is my career
