Hi! I am a full time nanny for first time parents and I have a few questions about expectations, etc., when traveling with the family. The parents asked me how exactly it all works since I’m the first nanny, but I’m not too sure.

I’ve nannied previously and went on vacation with the family for work. I was paid my normal weekly flat rate, no extra.

Questions: MB/DB what are the standard expectations when your nanny travels with you? Nannies, do you have any specifics that have been asked of you when traveling?

When traveling, I’ll be spending what would be my free time to work. Should I expect extra pay, even if they are paying for my accommodations?
