I got to thinking about this after the latest episode. Maybe someone in the town uses the supernatural to make a quick buck. Probably not the Glass Family they don't feel like that level of major player. It's possible now a sort of anti-magic substance has been unleashed and is undoing all that work done over the years. Maybe the Glass Family sealed whoever used to run things in the town and now they are back after being freed by Temperance's shenanigans and are undoing their work as a sort of weird payback. My thinking is this will lead to the curse being broken like the new big bad offers to remove the curse Nancy refuses but Ace jumps on it and does something like destroys evidence.

I get what the latest episode was trying to say but I like the idea of Nancy and Ace being tempted with the offer of their curse being removed. I just like the idea of one of them attempting to stick with their values then after a near death moment they say yes to whatever the proverbial devil wants causing more drama.
