In the trailer it is said that Tristan suffered a painful past, but why? his kingdom is at peace, he has parents who definitely take care of him and would not harm him, so what a painful past? I can only think of one option, the powers of light and dark. Tristan is the 1st hybrid of a goddess and a demon, a new race, we all think that being their son he could handle the powers of light and dark without problems, but what if that's not the case? What if these powers cause a contradiction in themselves? He would have to learn control throughout his life, and I believe the film will focus on that.
