I’ve always been in love with the name Grey (or Gray—I keep going back and forth on the spelling). For years, I imagined it as a standalone name—simple, sleek, and unique. But whenever I mention it to family or friends, they immediately assume it’s short for Greyson/Grayson.
Now I’m second-guessing myself. Should we just go with the full name Greyson/Grayson and use Grey/Gray as a nickname? I still love the idea of keeping it short and to the point, but I’m starting to feel like I might be overthinking it (or maybe just getting name fatigue).
What do you think? Does Grey/Gray hold its own as a full name, or would Greyson/Grayson be a better choice to give him more flexibility as he grows?
