According to all the data I’ve been collecting over the years (since at least US 7th grade) I have done some analytics.
I’ve found that the three most common girls middle names across generations are in no particular order; Ann, Marie, and Lynn.
This observation DOES NOT treat variations in spelling (e.g. Ann Vs. Anne Vs. An or Lynn Vs. Lynne Vs. Lyn) as “different” middle names.
NOTE: the data pipeline goes from my CRM on initial enrollment (each individual is represented as a contact card (“card” for short) to possibly my continuous integration (CI) platform and ultimately to me playing “the middle name game” at some point
What on Earth is up with this odd finding? Do these findings vary by country or region? Is my data off?
