WWI B&W American film
Post Body

It involved infantry fighting in a trench, oddly enough, given the film. I seem to recall it had James Cagney in it, but I might have that wrong as I didn’t see a memory trigger in any of his IMDB listings. I seem to recall there was as a touching memorial scene in which somebody recited a poem I’ve longed to have the words to.
