EDIT: SOLVED: the movie was Stay (2017)
This movie came out within the last 10 years, and I can only remember there being two characters: a man who is holding a woman captive in his own apartment. She expresses boredom and he allows her to read books and take up painting. He gives her a dress to wear and they have a dinner βdateβ. Can anyone help me with naming this movie?
(note: it is NOT Berlin Syndrome, or Hippopotamus, Pet, Room, or The Kept Woman)
I might have watched in on Netflix within the past 3/4 years.
Thank you!
EDIT: movie is not Girl in the Box or 1BR. the movie has an indie vibe, is not based in true crime, and is not very violent.
