Is Germanic Pagan Unusable?

Post Body
I've loved the name Germanic Pagan since I was a child, and think Jerma is a super sweet nickname for it. But I'm worried about the religion association. I was raised in the religion but am not practicing anymore. Is the tie to Germanic Paganism too strong to use the name especially if I'm not a Germanic Pagan? Do you automatically think of the religion when you hear the name? I know Follower of Old Norse Religion is an alternative but personally I really dislike it.
