Interesting observation about flairs

Flairs are required but Reddit won't enforce the rule for me as moderator. However, I've had a user that complains about specific posts not having a flair. I don't understand why a person would complain about one guy posting without a flair but ignore others?
Something doesn't seem right.
Please use flairs when posting.
