Beginner nail tech - How’s the Apex?

I just started doing nails and ignoring the fact that I’ve had this set of gel x on for a couple of weeks, what do you guys think of the placement of my apex? Is the nail too flat?
The retention is pretty good which I’m happy about (2nd pic) as it has been 2 weeks :)
