Can a deformed nails bed be cured? Or is it permanent?

This is what my deformed nail looks like. It's probably because I keep scratching underneath the grown nails before I cut them. My middle finger is the only real problem but even though I leave other fingers untouched it seems my nails are somehow deformed a bit. (For instance my pinky fingers nails seem a bit deformed and leans inwards) can this be fixed? Is it normal for this to happen?
