So first ($1200) and last month($1200), and a security deposit ($500).

That’s about $3000(low end) to 5000 ( in higher areas) up front just to move in. Wo has thousands of dollars just saved up? Not like you can save up unless you’re living with someone for free; and if you’re like me and have nobody you’re screwed.

It’s not that I can’t afford rent, I just can’t afford the deposits.
