I feel that in the few short weeks that Winston Peters has been PM, we've seen more tangible progress taking place than across Jacinda's entire term. Finally something is being done about mental health with the pilot program for 18-25 year olds that was announced, and, if you've been following Parliament, Winston Peters is absolutely schooling Simon Bridges during Question Time. Winston Peters just so effortlessly answers the media's questions and reassures New Zealanders. Like people say he's xenophobic, but so far he has been the only one to acknowledge the violence being suffered by dairy owners because of the cigarette tax. You could say that even Nature has blessed Winston Peters as PM, with the Matiriki whale showing up in Wellington and giving a high five with its flipper to him. I just fear that when Jacinda comes back, things will regress. I personally like Jacinda a lot and have had a selfie taken with her, but she surrounds herself with idiot ministers (Claire Curran, Kelvin "let's make rape prisons" Davis, Grant "zero business confidence" Robertson, Phil Twyford and David "nurses can go diaf" Clark) that lead to scandal after scandal (sexual harassment, ministerial spending, taxes upon taxes etc.). Also, anyone get the feeling that Helen Clark and Michael Cullen are trying to pull her strings? The old guard need to fuck off, you had your time and you almost ruined the country during it (see NCEA and Working For Families).

So just like how there's a petition up to ban gay conversion therapy in New Zealand (which I've signed), can we get a petition to have Winston Peters be our PM? Or at least a petition to get David Clark and Kelvin Davis to resign?
