My name is Edward. I was bitten by the Cosplay bug and for the last ten years I've been embracing my inner geek and going to conventions. I stole an old guys' shield, wielded it for a brief moment, then used it to take a nap. Met a couple of Jokers and started playing around with makeup again and again and again... And uh... I did this.

Look, I'm a comic book geek, a movie enthusiast, and a so-so gamer. I mean, I've looked worse. But after everything, I still love being Spider-Man. I mean, who wouldn't? So no matter how many hits I take, I always find a way to come back. Because the only thing standing between me and finding a person to connect with is my crippling shyness and I'm trying to overcome that with this silly Reddit post 😎👉

About me:

5'7", Chinese, born and raised in NYC, living on my own in the lower east side. Elder emo, huge geek, big fan of good story telling and cinematography. I'm super low maintenance and a bit of an introvert to my own detriment but will absolutely go out and be social for the right person/company. I've been described as having cat-like energy because of this; quiet at first, but once I warm up to you I am very affectionate.

The excerpt above is paraphrased from Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse, so as you can see I'm a huge dork. I read a few select comics (Ultimate Spider-Man, a few Batman one-shots or mini series), I leave movies and Netflix shows on while I'm browsing Reddit (Star Wars, Dune, comedies, horror movies, well written romcoms and slice-of-life movies), am pretty particular with which games I play (BioWare games, The Last of Us Part 1 and 2, Final Fantasy 7/Remake). I used to go to anime/comic conventions a ton but took a break from it in early 2019 and the itch to go back has been getting to me.

Basically looking for someone (M4F, maybe open to femme leaning T or NB), preferably local, to match/appreciate my geekiness and hopefully has some geeky hobbies of their own. I have a ton of vacation days to use up during the year, let's go to a convention or have some adventures!
