Hi, I'm Alex and another friend (25F) and I are here looking to make some friends. I can be pretty shy / nerdy / awkward, so making friends IRL is pretty tough for me. But reddit is my happy place, and it's giving me enough confidence to try and reach out :)
I'm into the usual nerdy stuff you'd probably imagine. I like everything techie or computerized, video games (currently playing Diablo IV), anime, manga, fantasy novels. I've played DnD once in the past and really liked it, so if you've got room in your group for 2 more, we'd totally be up to join in (will need help as beginners though). On the less-nerdy side, I like clothing shopping, I like exploring Long Island for good bakeries or ice cream places. Not sure what else other than that, but I'm always open to picking up new hobbies if you've got something you're already into and would like more friends to join in, just let me know. I don't go into the city much, but if your from there its no problem, I don't mind taking the train in to hang out.
