Average cost of meals ?

Hi y’all, I just got my new subscription ( New Year, New Me). And I wondered about the cost/meal.
Using Blue Apron/ Hello Fresh as a comparison of roughly $10-$15 per person per meal for two people ($20 per recipe).
What range does your meal generally cost? Or...how much do you generally spend for a NYT recipe?
Assumptions, salt pepper oil are already in your pantry.
Edit 1: I understand that there is a wide range of meals, lobster vs chicken thighs... Edit 2: I live in NYC.
