NYPD Psych Appeal Question

Does anyone have any idea of a lawyer or a more cost effective way to appeal a psych dq for police officer? I appealed with my private psychologist and self represented myself. And I was granted a second interview at the candidate assessment building with another psychologist. And then I was given a letter shortly after stating they are sustaining the original rejection on my appeal and I have time to submit a response to it with either a lawyer or a private psychologist. I can’t justify spending 3,000-5,000 in expenses on a lawyer with no guarantees of success.
