I think it gets them fired up because they know any given down might be their chance to make a play. When I played there were certain plays that just got you fired up because you knew it was go time. Almost like backyard football … fly around and have fun!

Bend don’t break. How many times has it felt like opposing drives are getting huge chunks and going to put up points, only to stall and wind up with three. That’s hugely impressive with the roster. Add onto that the adjustments at half and I have to say it’s impressive so far. We need to upgrade the secondary, for sure, but the players seem bought in and that is imperative no matter what the scheme and pieces in place.
