1. Not ELITE line play, but O Line improvement against a tough front 7. Evan Neal had talked about embracing the challenge of Bosa, let's just keep DJ upright and allow the passing game operate. DJ has been sacked 10 times already. I'd like to see 3 or fewer sacks on DJ tonight.
2. Let DJ COOK, and let him do it right away. The Rams almost beat the niners last week by attacking their secondary with Stafford passing on 71% of their plays (55 attempts). Lets use that philosophy with the absence of Barkley and return of Wan'Dale and the get ball out fast to the flats and give the niners a taste of their own west coast medicine.
3. Pressure. If we have any shot of being competitive, we need some vintage Wink tonight and we gotta get to the QB. I'd like to see Kayvon record his first sack of the year, and to see the defense get creative on some blitz packages to disrupt Purdy's rhythm.
4. Continue the momentum from last game by not giving them short plays. Don't let the niners have the flats for free in this one, they have too many play makers. Haddy, Pinnock and McKinney were all over the field in the second half last week and tackling well. I'd like to see Simmons on more snaps this week as well.

All in all, I'm a prideful fan of big blue, but I'm not naïve. I know were most likely outmatched by a contender on their home field, but if we can do these things I said and keep it close, it will give a lot of hope. Please don't get blown out. GO GIANTS!!
