Anyone looking for a roommate? 1BR apartment hunting is rough. 2BR or 3BR seems like you get more for your money, the only downside is you'd share with a roommate of course. But I'm looking to socialize so it like having an automatic friend who's willing to go out and enjoy all nyc has to offer.

I'm 39M, ICU nurse, gay. I'll be working for a hospital 3x/week, 12 hour shifts. I'm a little introverted but friendly and looking to socialize. I'm moving from white plains ny, just 30-45 min north of Manhattan, mainly bc I'm not very gay and I need to make some gay friends. I keep my shared space clean, I clean while I cook, I share food within reason, and my bills are always paid on time. I'm a bit nerdy and my hobbies are anime, video games, card/board games, movies, EDM/music festivals, and exploring nyc parks, tourist sites, and nightlife. I am looking to branch out and get into self improvement, join a social sports league, fitness, and making friends and dating. I don't usually have guests over and keep my noise to a minimum. I'm OK with pets as long as they're not a barker. You: clean, responsible, pay bills on time. Willing to meet in person or video call if you're not in the area.

I'm also looking at bedstuy and Bushwick in brooklyn since they seem more affordable, but I would need the apartment to be near a subway line for easy commute.
