trying to find unconventional ways to become more comfortable with my body that aren't sexual and have me in a more rested state than dancing. i'd been wanting to do something like pose nude for an art class, but i'm not sure how to find stuff like this without ending up in a sketchy/unsafe situation. does anyone have any leads? edit: thank u everyone for ur suggestions!! i'll def be emailing around
I began my modeling career posing for artists, and I’ve worked for Grand Central Atelier art school. It was great for networking and getting repeat work with artists even after graduation.
I was also a traveling model for 5 years. Happy to answer any questions if you’d want to pursue it as a supplemental income.
I’d highly recommend avoiding Facebook “tfp” (time for pictures) groups. I’d say a good 3/4 of photographers are creeps, particularly the hobbyists.
Model Mayhem can be an ok resource if you have the patience to sift.
