Backstory: met a girl on a dating app. Weve been messaging back and forth the last few weeks.

For reference: her and i are on UES. im in the east 70s, shes east 90s. Im also an awesome fancy lesbian.

Convo synopsis:

Her: We’ve texted for 3 weeks now and you haven’t suggested going on a date yet so I’m going to assume you’re not interested in actually going on a date.

Me: Apologies - The last week, my hand was messed up really bad (finger infection) and have had a headcold. But im down.

Her: sounds great. Dinner in west village?

Me: no idea whats good there. Lets get sushi here.

Her: lets do wv. Get something on resy or opentable.

Me: whats so great about wv? You didnt pick a specific spot there.

Her: It’s bc the WV is cool and has great restaurants

Analysis:

1) west village is 20 minutes away by train. Neither one of us lives there. In fact, its very far away from UESz.

2) she cant name a specific spot there for us to go (and i have no idea what is good there to eat)

3) any suggestions to a place near us is shot down by her.
