Hi everyone, I recently accepted a job in the Bronx which starts March 28th and I'm in need of housing. Temporary is perfectly fine so I can take some more time to figure out something more permanent, but I'm not opposed to renting/subleasing for a longer period of time. Preferably sub-$1,000 in a private room (don't care about bathroom as much) or 1 bedroom/studio. Craigslist has been less than helpful, and I'm pretty lost as far as finding an apartment in NYC goes, coupled with the fact that I'm currently in DC and can't easily go visit apartments. I'd rather get up there first before going out and finding like a year lease on something. Thanks in advance!
